These Terms govern your registration for and participation in workshops offered under the Practice Shift brand. By completing payment you confirm you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and the Cancellation Policy below.
Cancellation Policy
Please read this before you pay. We've kept it short and clear.
- All payments are final. We don't offer refunds.
- Can't make it? You can transfer your seat to someone else. Email us at hello@practiceshift.live before the workshop day with their name and email.
- If we cancel or reschedule the Workshop: you'll receive a full refund of the fee paid to your original payment method, or a seat at the rescheduled session. Your choice.
- Any refund due under this policy is issued via Stripe within 10 business days.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UAE consumer protection law, including where the Workshop is not delivered as described.
1. About these terms
These Terms govern your registration for and participation in workshops offered under the Practice Shift brand ("Workshop"), operated by Design Syndicate FZE LLC, a company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (Trade Licence No. 262934211888) ("we", "us", "our"). By completing payment you confirm you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and the Cancellation Policy above.
2. What's included
- A place in the Workshop on 22 August 2026, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM IST, held live online (join link sent by email before the session).
- A hands-on workshop with live guidance to help you set up a website with a motion background.
Not included: your own laptop, a stable internet connection, and any third-party software subscriptions (see clause 5).
3. Price and payment
- The Workshop fee is shown at checkout in Indian Rupees (INR).
- We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your place is confirmed only once full payment is received.
4. Prerequisites
To take part you'll need your own laptop and a working Higgsfield account. We'll email setup instructions ahead of the Workshop. We can't guarantee the full experience if you arrive without the prerequisites ready.
5. Third-party tools — bring your own account
The Workshop teaches you to use third-party tools, including Higgsfield. You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own account with each tool, under your own name, and for any subscription fees you choose to pay directly to that provider. Your use of those tools is governed by the provider's own terms and pricing, which may change at any time. We do not provide, resell or share logins for these tools, and we are not responsible for their availability, performance, pricing, content or any account issues. Please set up and test your account before the Workshop using the instructions we send you.
6. Changes, rescheduling and cancellation by us
We may need to change the date, time, venue or format of the Workshop, or cancel it (for example, due to low enrolment or circumstances beyond our reasonable control). If we cancel, or if we reschedule and the new date doesn't work for you, you'll receive a full refund of the fee paid, as set out in the Cancellation Policy. We are not liable for incidental costs such as travel, accommodation or time.
7. Recording, photography and intellectual property
We may photograph, film or record the Workshop and use the resulting material for promotional and marketing purposes across any media. By attending, you consent to appearing in such material. If you'd prefer not to appear, let us know in writing before the Workshop and we'll do our best to accommodate you. All Workshop materials are our intellectual property and are provided for your personal use only. Please don't copy, redistribute or resell them.
8. Your wall profile (user-submitted content)
After registering, you can optionally submit a profile for the public Practice Shift wall: a photo, a short line about you, and links to your portfolio or social accounts. By submitting a profile you:
- grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the wall and in screenshots of the site used for promotion;
- confirm you own the rights to everything you submit, including the photo;
- accept that every profile is reviewed before it appears, and that we may reject or remove any profile at any time, at our discretion.
Want your profile changed or taken down? Email hello@practiceshift.live and we'll sort it. Profiles carried over from an earlier edition (the name and links you shared for that edition's wall) can be removed the same way.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the Workshop is limited to the fee you paid. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Ajman.
